All your walk information in one place

Choosing a Walk
Please read the walk details carefully and pick a walk to suit you.
If you have not walked for a while you may like to consider whether it would be better to choose an easier walk this time.
Meeting Place and Time

Please check the walk details for the start point and time of your walk.

Our linear bus walks start from the bus station in May Lane, Dursley GL11 4JH.

Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the walk so that the walk leader can check you in and the walk can leave on time.

Clothing and Footwear
Please arrive equipped for the walk and be prepared for any weather.
For most walks walking boots/shoes are essential. Please carry a waterproof.
The walk leader reserves the right to refuse to take ill equipped walkers.
Refreshments
Please carry enough food and drink for the length of walk you are doing (and some spare).
Your Health and Safety
Whilst leaders take every care, your comfort and safety are your own responsibility.

Everyone taking part in Dursley Walking Festival does so at their own risk.

You are responsible for judging whether you are physically fit enough to take part in a walk of the length and difficulty advertised.
If for any reason you wish to leave the walk early, please make sure you let the walker leader or backmarker know.

Exceptional Circumstances
The duration of the walk is an estimate and cannot be guaranteed.
The walk leader will be at the meeting point whatever the weather. In exceptional weather conditions, the walk may be re-routed or cancelled to ensure your safety.
If a walk has to be cancelled you will be notified at the earliest opportunity.
Children
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be capable of completing the chosen walk.
Dogs
Sorry, we do not allow dogs on Festival walks.
Photography Notice
Please note that photographs and videos may be taken during the walk for promotional and publicity use by the festival. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the walk leader before we set off.

Volunteer with Us
We are always on the look out for more Festival organisers, walk leaders, backmarkers and other helpers. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you book an activity but then find you cannot participate, please cancel and release the slot for others.

If you have booked and paid for an activity, and need to cancel, you may claim a refund up to 7 days before the day of the activity.
