A long distance circular walk around Dursley, Uley, Coaley and Cam.

According to the Rev Kilvert's diary of 1873, couples on their way to evening services in winter followed a practical though unusual local tradition:

"My Mother says that at Dursley, when ladies and gentlemen went out together on dark nights, the gentlemen pulled out the tails of their shirts and walked before to show the way. These were called Dursley lanterns."
