Description:

Join “The Camino de Dursley”. A strenuous walk to visit Places of Worship in and around the Dursley area. This will involve quite a bit of road/pavement walking as well as open countryside and steep sections as we venture to the more outlying parishes and buildings.

The walk will encompass the 16 Places of Worship which make up the Churches Together Group in and around the local area. You will see a wide variety of buildings from traditional Parish Churches to more modern Places of Worship. We will have the chance to make a short stop at a few of them, for a possible look inside and a short reflection.

There will be a chance to see wonderful views over the Severn Estuary as well as the beautiful and picturesque Ewelme valley.

Please bring plenty of food and drink for the day although we are aiming to be back in time for Tea & Cake at Dursley Methodist Church.

Highlights: a variety of buildings used for various types of worship and some wonderful views over the Severn Estuary as well as the picturesque Ewelme valley.
